Positive cognizance above all concerns ourselves as well as our loved ones who demand spiritual help.
The anthroposophy of an Austrian philosopher, Rudolf Steiner, is such a proposal addressed to every thinking and seeking man. This is because, according to Steiner, people reincarnate only within their own species and not as it is in the philosophies of the East that they enter various inter-species relations. What is important, according to Steiner alone, is that anthroposophy is scientific research of the spiritual world, which surpasses both the unilaterality of a pure natural science, as well as an ordinary mysticism, which before it makes an attempt to permeate the extrasensory world in the soul of the cognizing person first develops the powers which are not known yet to the ordinary consciousness. Let us consider the rudimentary Steiner’s division concerning ourselves. An so, in the anthroposophy there is a division into the physical body, the astral body, the etheric body, the I, as well as into the body, soul and spirit.
What is important here is the fact of the transformation of man taking place as the joining the Heaven with Earth, which mainly concerns the spiritual transformation of Man and Nature.
What is essential here is that a man originates at the moment of initiation, of achieving what is astral. Obviously people in contact with the output or rather an intellectual heritage, both European and outside-European, may find in my reasoning concerning this congenial philosophy various influences. Starting from the ancient Greece the Platonian and Neoplatonian sources can be found here, as well as reaching further to the history of the modern European thought one can find the influences of Schelling, Fitchte, Hegel and many other representatives of the Romanticism with Goethe starting it.
Well, Sincere Reader, please search various academic elaborations where you can find everywhere the influence of one thinker on the others, what very often resulted in intellectual turning points within whole epochs of world literature. By reading Steiner one may reach the following conclusions concerning the modern man searching for the sense of socio-political changes in the world, thus: first of all, one has to become an adherent of an occult science /the whole so-called esoteric philosophy is the example of this, starting from the times of Heraclitus of Ephesus preaching egalitarianism and hermeneutics of all great profound thinking concerning basic metaphysical issues/.
Getting to know what the astral is, is the fundamental condition to get acquainted with this the most original philosophy of 20th century. Because the human existence is impossible without crossing the border of physical phenomena. And the same as it is in Platonian philosophy, where an adherent is to leave the cave of shadows into the light of Sun in order to get to know the secret of existence, at Steiner’s it is necessary to connect the existence of a man with the spiritual world, of which the negative example, that is an example of disconnecting from this spirituality, is the post-modernist overwhelming with the beauty of the material world, without a substantial connection to the basic aspects of a spiritual universe.
Strictly speaking, without entering this path of spirituality, the development of man is impossible. Because he still remains in the cave of senses condemned to chains of desire and sensual stimuli leading him to the direction of the eternal lack of satisfaction and permanent dilemmas.
It should be mentioned here in the way clear to everyone, that philosophy has always been an esoteric knowledge, and what permeates the student or a listeners of an after-graduate study concerning the secrets of specific ontological systems is only a substitute prepared for a different purpose, i.e. for a superficial acquaintance with random subjects representing a given system in a false mirror of the so-called academic knowledge condemned to the laughing-stock of students and the dust of the archives of public libraries.
Whereas, a grotesque representation of a given epistemological system presents only fragmentary elements and categories of a given philosophical thought. The view of the history of philosophy, presented this way, is condemned to the three „Z”: zapamiętać (remember), zdać (pass), zapomnieć (forget).
But it is not, what it’s all about. The superficial layer of philosophical systems from which derive the so-called learned individuals devoid of a profound knowledge, condemns these systems to leaving them out and resetting them in the minds of the more educated and striving for knowledge students. Whereas, even Plato, who according to some people created the whole European philosophy, advised his followers a secondary semantization of his lectures, due to the danger of reading of some of his theses by laymen, devoid of imagination and the ability to think logically. Steiner’s adequate cognizance means an adequate action, what colloquially speaking, shows His idea of a profound connection of theory and spiritual practice. Whereas, secret cognizance opens us to eternal truth and perpetual beauty which we can contemplate only by immersing ourselves in a secret cognizance in the thorough meaning of this word. |
